REIT Financial News - 11 Jan 2010: AIMSAMPI Reit completes acquisition of AMP Capital Properties

The Manager of AIMS AMP Capital Industrial REIT is pleased to announce that the acquisition of each of 23 Tai Seng Drive, 3 Toh Tuck Link, 56 Serangoon North Avenue 4 and 30/32 Tuas West Road has been completed today. See report.

The Manager of AIMS AMP Capital Industrial REIT is pleased to announce that S$69.2 million out of the gross proceeds from the Rights Issue has been used. See report.

    Do you think you can do some analysis on this reit? It was recommended to me but i have some doubts on its' mid/longterm prospects.

    Actually i have a posting on 19 Dec 2009 about this reit:
    Investment Log - Bought and Subscribed the MacArthurCook Reit Rights

    At that time it was still known as Macarthurcook Reit.
    I did some analysis using the proforma figures post rights issue and have decided to take some positions. But i did highlight that it was a very small part of my portfolio as i still find it risky to a certain extent. This reit is not the likes of stronger reits such as A-Reit. Will probably need to monitor quite closely if u have taken position.
